TAFs & METARs have now added a number for international requests, send TAF or METAR followed by the ICAO code to 60300 (UK only) or 447797800300 for our UK or International users.

To better provide information internationally we will be introducing an International number that can be used to receive information outside of the UK.

Welcome to TAFs and METARs, an online resource to help aviators, meteorologists and anyone who wants to know what the weather is like at a specific aerodrome to get that information.

If you are unsure as to what a TAF(Terminal Aerodrome Forecast) or METAR(Aviation Routine Weather Report) actually are, select the name to get a good description from Wikipedia, also Wikipedia offers some idea on how to decode the TAFs and METARs that are available.

TAFs and METARs have developed a new Mobile Phone application, created for use on Phones that use the Android Open Source Operating System. Follow this link for more details.

Request a TAF or a METAR by sending a message to the shortcode 60300, (UK phones only). The message should start with either TAF or METAR followed by the ICAO code, for example: TAF EGOS or METAR EGOS, the request is not case sensitive, confirm price details above before requesting.
